You can act now and become a part of the solution
The average UK citizen emits 5.4 tonnes of CO2e every year, and whist a great many of you are doing everything they can to reduce their environmental impact on the planet we know that during this transition away from fossil fuels some of fundamental services we use in our everyday lives will still emit some carbon for the next few years.
We support a variety of ecological projects around the world, helping developing countries to progress in a sustainable way. During this transition, supporting projects abroad can be the most cost effective way of helping to reduce worldwide emissions as a whole. We are all in this together. By signing up to become a Climate neutral citizen you will be taking responsibility for your unavoidable emissions and helping move the world towards net zero in the most collective way possible.
Carbon Neutral Citizen – Finances 6 tonnes of CO2e, supporting the following projects around the world:
Biomass Energy Conservation, Malawi, Africa GS2446 – 2 tonnes
Wind Power, Orosi, Costa Rica CDM06652 – 2 tonnes
Solar Power, Bhadla, Rajasthan GS7071 – 2 tonnes
We’ve also been working with some clients and companies that have gone a step beyond and become #CarbonNegative. After measuring their carbon emissions they have made the decision to finance sustainable projects to the tune of double their emissions, in essence to tip the scales in favour of a stable climate by proactively promoting a sustainable future above and beyond any expectation or requirement. We believe this should be the new benchmark for any individual or company that is truly committed to joining the fight to combat climate change and highly commend the action.
Carbon Negative Citizen – Financing double the emissions of the average UK citizen, supporting 12 tonnes of carbon mitigation. This investment includes:
Biomass Energy Conservation, Malawi, Africa GS2446 – 4 tonnes
Wind Power, Orosi, Costa Rica CDM06652 – 4 tonnes
Solar Power, Bhadla, Rajasthan GS7071 – 4 tonnes
